Accessibility Statement
Last updated: Nov 1, 2026
Goodhaus wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a goal and a way of working, not a certification: the website has not been independently audited, and we do not claim full conformance.
What We Have Done
- A “Skip to content” link and a clear page structure with headings and landmarks;
- A quote form that can be completed with the keyboard alone, with a label on every field, error messages linked to the field they describe, and a confirmation message coded to be announced by screen readers;
- Address suggestions that work with the arrow keys, Enter and Escape and that post status messages for screen readers, and a form that keeps your answers if a submission fails;
- Visible keyboard focus, and text and controls checked for color contrast;
- Menus and galleries that can be used with a keyboard;
- Pages that adapt to phone screens and to browser zoom;
- An “Accessibility options” button on every page for larger text, more spacing between letters and lines, stronger contrast, underlined links and reduced motion. The website is built to work without it, and your browser and operating system accessibility settings keep working.
How We Check
We test pages with automated accessibility checks and with keyboard-only walkthroughs. We have not yet tested with screen reader software such as NVDA or VoiceOver.
Known Limitations
Some content comes from other parties, such as map tiles and address suggestions, and may not fully meet our standard. The interactive map may be harder to use with a keyboard or screen reader than the rest of the website. We keep reviewing the website and fix problems we find.
Report a Problem
If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, use our online request form and choose “Report an accessibility problem.” Tell us the page and what happened, and we will try to help.
