Text Message Terms

Last updated: Nov 1, 2026

These terms apply to text messages (SMS and MMS) about requests submitted on the Goodhaus website. They are part of our Terms of Use.

1. What You Agree To

Text messages are optional. Only if you check the separate, optional text box on the quote form, you agree to receive text messages about your request from Goodhaus and from the Lead Recipients that receive your request, at the number you entered. Recipients vary by project and location and are not named in advance. We will email you the name of each company that receives your request. You do not have to check the box to get a quote or to buy anything.

We do not ask for permission to send you texts with an autodialer. If you did not check the box, your request does not authorize texts.

2. How Often

Message frequency varies and depends on your request and on how many Lead Recipients receive it.

3. Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

4. How to Stop Texts

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that sender. You may receive one message confirming your request. Stopping texts from one sender does not stop texts from other Lead Recipients you were matched with; reply STOP to each of them, or send us a request through our request form and we will pass it on. Reply HELP to a text for help from that sender.

5. Your Number

Only enter a mobile number that belongs to you. If you change or give up your number, you agree to stop texts to it first.

6. Delivery

Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages, and we do not guarantee delivery of any message.

7. Privacy

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
